Cheddar Chive Biscuits

Whether you are full time RVing growing your own herbs in your RV garden or have a beautiful home garden, those yummy little plants will sure come in handy for this recipe!

This recipe is an ode to the multitasking biscuit—because this can be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and to me that epitomizes so much of what I love about southern biscuits, y'all.

Cheddar Chive Biscuits Recipe

2 1/2 cups biscuit baking mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

3/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon garlic powder

6 T. butter, melted

3 T. fresh chives

3 T. fresh parsley

  1. Combine baking mix, cheese, milk, garlic, and 2 T. butter. Mix well.

  2. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet

  3. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes

  4. Mix remaining melted butter with herbs; brush over biscuits while they are still warm.

Serving Ideas:

  1. Cut biscuits in half to make a "sandwich" with garlic & herb cream cheese spread, sliced cucumber and radish.

  2. Serve with my Fresh Herb Omelet recipe.

  3. Dip them in your favorite soup or stew.
